International Relations and European Studies
The International Relations program, along with Political Science, have been the early programs developed by SNSPA since 1991. The BA degree in International Relations and European Studies is organized within the Department of Political Science and European Studies. This program is certified with a high level of trust by ARACIS, making it one of the best International Relations programs in Romania. It has been revised periodically, keeping its high level of quality in teaching and research. At the end of 2014 its enrolling capacity has been extended from 50 to 150 places for the first year of studies. The BA program in International Relations is the Faculty’s most competitive at admissions, with highest admission grades necessary for a candidate to be accepted. This was achieved thanks to the national and international recognition of professors and researchers of the Department of Political Science and European Studies and, more relevant, to the performance of our graduate students in both academic research and professional careers.
The Department of Political Science is currently headed by: Associate Professor Mihai Păunescu (Head of Department), Associate Professor Mihai Ungureanu and Assistant Professor Bogdan Florian (members in the Departmental Council).
